Good Product Horrible Customer Service After The Sale
By Dan Hogan | Published  10/4/2006
I purchased my scoot on 8/25/06 it was delivered on 9/1/06. To this date I await for the paperwork to get on the road. I recently purchased a scoot from ScooterDemand.com, Nick has been my point of contact. He is the worst customer service person I have come across in memory. the whole experience has been a pain. Nick is full of SH big time. I work in a call center customer service claims adjuster for a auto extended warranty co. If we conducted business the way Nick and Scooter demand.com did we would be out of business. Nick promised me the paperwork was in the mail over a week ago only to get a call from him needing the VIN number of my scoot. What the heck is he not supposed to know that already. He has made promises and not kept them. Then when I wanted to talk to his boss the poop hit the fan. He actually has threatened me if i "pressure him"the paperwork would get delayed. how is that for customer service. gonna file a compaint with the attorney general in thier home state. and contact rocketa directly. I have read many stories about the paperwork nightmares and now it is happening to me. sours me from ever buying off the internet. Too bad I actually like my scoot. I would not recomend buying a paper bag from scooterdemand.com with people in that organization like Nick they wont be in business long. I will ck out the other options I have for parts for shure. they are not the only game in the US. Scooters are just gonna get more popular for shure with gas prices and companies like scooterdemand will not last long. this is the US and we are used to a higher level of service unfortunately people like Nick dont have a clue.

I recently purcased a 250 DE form scooterdemand..The machine is simply great but, unfortunately it recieved some damage while in shipment (between China and Maine)I got a hold of Nick at scooter demand for assistance in getting replacement parts,He took my call and said that he would take care of things..I waited two weeks and called him back for any news on the parts , he said they were on order, waited and waited tried to call nick again he would not take calls from my number.. after repeated attemts I tried calling from a new phone number ( he picked up)I guess he thaught it may be a new sale??,I asked him about my parts,he went off his high horse and told me to stop calling him..I told him if I didn't some answer I would get the Attorny General from Maine,Kansas and California involved . He the said it could take as long as 3 months to get my parts,I'm able to use my Scooter because I was able to patch/repair the damages,But there's more,My helmet came in it was color keyed to the scooter, perfect size,BUT..The visor would not snap on to the helmet..Contacted Nick again..he said ship it back to us and I will replace from stock as soon as we recieve , it's been two weeks not a word from scooter demand,(I shipped it usps expess)if You call sales, cust support, tech support NICK answers all the calls,Here's a company with a good product but bad customer servise..I will think twice before buying on line again
