The internet scooter industry is missing the boat.
By Dan Hogan | Published  10/4/2006
well now almost another week has passed since I had to provide Nick at Scooterdemand.com the VIN number for my scoot since they did not know that (lame). I thought that would be his last excuse. I guess his threat to hold up my co (certifiicate of origion) is gonna be true. So now it is my turn. I have filed an offical complaint with the Kansas Attorney general I have started a credit card dispute Letters to WIN WIN auto group are written and stamped. The BBB will soon get my complaint and I am doing this. Too bad that these Internet companies have to be such idiots they are really missing the boat!!!!!! Americans are not going to tolerate this poor level of service. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND SCOOTERDEMAND.COM TO ANYONE. DO NOT BUY A SCOOTER OFF THE INTERNET UNLESS YOU ARE GUARENTEED IN WRITING THE CERTIFICATE OF ORIGION FULLY FILL OUT PROPERLY WILL BE ENCLOSED WITH THE SCOOT UPON DELIVERY. Even then I would be skeptical. A damn shame too. the product aint that bad even after all the problems with inital quality control and assembly. I hope people read this prior to buying !!! DEFINATELY DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SCOOTERDEMAND.COM NICK WILL LIE HE NEEDS TO GO SELL USED CARS AT BUY HERE PAY HERE LOTS.

I agree with you. I got mine that was suppose to be new and it looked like it had been run off the loading dock. I've had nothing but problems with Mike c. there and have also filed a complaint with the area BBB. they have until June 5 to respond. I have also filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office and IC3, which is an internet fraud unit combining the White collar Crimes unit and the FBI unit of internet fraud.

It is sept 7, 2007. I have finnaly resolved my issues with scooter demand.com. I had to contact the local district attorney in Wichita. Thay were a great help. Come to find out, the owners use many aliases to do business Mike cox was realy Nick one of the owners and a person named justin or jason are very rude.. Because of the nature of my complaint Win Win Auto group was called in to talk with the district attorneys office.. I received a full refund for my scooter after fighting with them for 6 months. Be very careful of dealing with these people. They will lie and tell you anything they have to. To keep you happy.

We bought a BMS Pinnacle 150 from scooterdemand. It arrived ok, was delivered by FedEx. But after to put it together, it never ran. We had the same thing, they said that they did not have the VIN number, so we had a wait and get it when the scooter arrive to get it insured. I guess that was a good sign that this company is not a good one.

I have more detail of my email sent to them to complain.

We actually bought 2 scooters from them and had all kinds of similar trouble that is in the other complaints. Now less than a year later, I can't even drive my scooter because it over heats and I guess they are out of business now so I can't get any help or parts. Definately a scam and very shameful the way they have screwed so many people.
